Description: Pair 18" Green Westinghouse Porcelain Industrial Barn Gas Station Light VintageSOLD AS A SET OF TWO Westinghouse has been making some of the best light fixtures since the early 1900's. These circa 1930's-1940's are no exception. One of these shades is in "A" condition, the other is a "B" with a bit of edge roughness as shown in the pictures, just enough to show they're truly vintage but hard to see when installed. The wonderful and substantial ceramic/porcelain fitter is my favorite fitter in the world! Check out how awesome the neck is on these lights. One of the neck/fitters is a shade different than the other. I took a picture of them right next to each other. I highly doubt anybody could see the difference if they were separated by only a couple feet. I've always loved these lights, they are among my all-time favorites, so substantial! The bottom rims have a thick black band, much more pronounced than most. The original two-piece fitters and sockets are in great condition. I media-blasted the top that was rusty and repainted with hi-temperature engine paint. New high-temperature wires were added to bring them back to life, I also added a ground wire for safety and code compliance. ready for another 100 years! The shades are 18" in diameter. The point the pipe enters to the bottom of the shade is 13 inches. With the 6" down-rod installed from the bottom of the shade to the ceiling is 19". Also available free of charge is a replacement of the 6" down-rods with either 3" or 12" down-rods. The newer swivel hangers will allow the lights to hang plumb even if there is a 20 degree slope.
