Description: Owl Figurine Cobalt Blue Art Glass Standing Vintage 1960s 70s Paperweight This vintage unmarked glass paperweight in the shape of an owl is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This item is from the 1960-1970s and has a traditional looking mid century owl. It is possibly a Blenko, Viking or Pilgrim glass item but any source of manufacturer is gone, possibly a sticker was removed or the bottom label. The owl is a smooth glass, clear cobalt blue and measures approximately 3 & 3/4" tall x 1.5" wide. The base is about 1 & 3/8" and is round. Conditional issues are light surface scratching and some small chips along the base in a few areas. In addition, the design of the tail is correct, it is a short, stubby tail. Even though we can't feel a chip, there may be a tiny chip at the end. It may actually be original but we thought it should be mentioned. This is a lovely piece for collectors of glass paperweights and figurines, especially those who love owls or the cobalt blue color. It is a quality made piece that will last for many more years with the right love and care.
