The tibial tuberosity is the bony prominence just under the kneecap, which is a common area of pain and injury in Osgood-Schlatter disease and other patellar tendinopathies. The lower strap goes over the tibial tuberosity and can be tightened to apply additional pressure and provide pain relief in the area.
