Description: Original and Authentic Conetta (Ka-Bar-Stlye) Vietnam Era USMC Marine Corps/US Army Combat Knife w Leather Sheath RARE! Original and authentic, Vietnam Era combat knife with original, numbered, leather sheath. The knife is in very nice overall shape but the guard and butt cap at bottom of handle are loose. The blade, tang and handle are not loose in any way so I'm sure it could be tightened up. The knife blade does not appear to have been sharpened and could use a new edge but there is no damage to the blade, its edges or its tip. The handle shows wear from age but wraps are all still tight. The sheath is numbered 298 on back. It has curvature in the belt loop area but the leather is in good shape. All 7 rivets are intact and all stitching is in good shape with no fraying nor loose ends. The knife handle loop and brass snap are in great shape as well.
