Description: Old/Vintage Mexican Saltillo Serape Textile 3.8 x 1.6 ft/Near fine condition A vintage/old Mexican Saltillo Style Serape textile woven in silk and wool and measuring 3' 8 " by 1' 6" and in clean and near fine condition. Authentic and vintage Latin American textiles are handwoven with wool and silk. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind. The present textile made by hand in Mexico utilizes the centuries old design of the Mexican Saltillo Serape. The fringe on each end of the textile may have been shortened though we cannot be sure that they were ever longer. Please note there are a few marks on the textile - a few faint lighter marks - on one side and a few scattered spots both sides. Colors however are bright and the textile bears no smells other than a subtle wool scent. The present textile would look awesome as a table runner or just hung over the back of a light colored couch or chair.
