The coconuts are processed without chemicals, to extract pure, virgin coconut oil. The coconut oil is then organically saponified with alkali per the National Organic Program, producing a soap of fatty acids and glycerin. This biodegradable soap is blended with citric acid for pH stability and packaged in a protective #2 HDPE container for easy use and recycling. Organic peppermint and organic bergamot essential oils are added for a wonderful aroma. NutriBiotic Coconut Oil Soap provides a great cleansing lather. NutriBiotic Coconut Oil Soap is made in small batches in our historic California facility, a CCOF certified organic processor. *Certified organic by CCOF: California Certified Organic Farmers. Ingredients: Water (aqua), saponified organic oil [organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, potassium hydroxide], essential oils of organic mentha piperita (peppermint) and organic citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit, citric acid, and menthol. Suggested Use: Wet hands, apply a small amount of soap to the palm of your hand, rub hands together to produce a rich lather, wash thoroughly, and rinse. Also, great as soap for other household uses. CAUTION: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush with water.
