Most of you, buying hp motherboards, already know this, but when you replace an HP motherboard you need to enter the new serial numbers and other info. It’s called configuring the HP dmi, sometimes called branding. The new motherboard will work just fine, but at bootup you will see the computer is in the “manufacturing program mode”. [see picture in ebay ad]. It goes right by this and boots into windows. If you want to remove it, you need to get an hp guy/girl, to brand it. It takes about 5 minutes or you can do it yourself. I will refund the money if for some reason this motherboard doesn’t work, which is highly unlikely . But I cannot take a return because of the dmi branding.
