Description: This unique 2 gallon stoneware crock is a wonderful example of New England antique school art. The piece is small, measuring up to 12 inches, and features a naive and primitive style that is perfect for collectors of antiques and primitives. It is perfect for display or as a decorative piece. The old crock was mostly like done in a pottery establishment by a student in the northeast US sometime in the 19th C. The crock measures approx. 12" in H. and approx. 8 1/4" in width. The inside has a brown glaze outside skin rough beige in color. Thecrock has chips-hair line crack in bottom and other imperfection as shown in photos. The crock would be ideal for fall or latedry flower arrangement for a different kind of look.
