Only 31 cars were offered in addition to around 20 other lots that include art, expensive wines and childrens cars. RM Sothebys gained $45.5 million with a sale-through rate of 84% on the cars. The star of the show was the 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider Competizione that brought $17.99 million. Eleven cars sold for over a million that evening. This large format, soft-cover catalog is designed to match the caliber of the vehicles in the sale, featuring 198 pages of fantastic photography including some impressive full-page shots, vehicle details and a fantastic cover shot of the 250 GT.
