"Remember The Future" was originally released in 1973 and for many fans it always has been the masterpiece by NEKTAR. Like their other albums, Nektar's 'Remember The Future' consists of exemplary craft and musicianship combined with enthusiasm. They are masters of the extended composition, never drifting off at a tangent. Basically a thirty-five minute piece, it has an intelligent blend of fast and slow, loud and quiet, vocal and instrumental, shifting between passages without jarring. They seem to have had great faith in the material, having toured it before recording it. The most impressive moments occur deep into part two, when Roye Albrighton produces a lovely solo during a Floyd-like passage.
