Description: Estate Find Morimura Noritake Japan Hand Painted Bowl with Saucer We offer a hand painted Japanese bowl with an under plate decorated in hues of grey. The bowl depicts a rural landscape with a house by a tree. The bowl is marked “M” for Morimura in a wreath, crowned by “NORITAKE” and below, “Hand Painted” and “Made in Japan”. The mark was registered in 1918 and in use from 1920 to 1940. The bowl measures 2 7/8” in height, 4 1/2” in diameter at the upper rim and 2 1/2” in diameter at the base. The saucer measures 5 3/8” in diameter and 3/4” in height. Overall in very good condition, free of chips, cracks, breaks and repairs.
