Description: Item pictured is shown wet, outdoors without flash. Please notice one corner missed by saw, see photos. Measurements are as shown in photos, taken from widest point. You will receive the item shown in the pictures. This listing is for a rough slab of Moravato Ocean Jasper from Madagascar. Ocean Jasper is known for it's many colors and distinctive orbs. There were 8 veins of Moravato Ocean Jasper which have all been mined out. Another deposit was rumored to be discovered in 2023, so new material may be on the market. This slab was acquired from a collector, acquired more than 10 years ago, so it can be estimated to be from vein 5 or older. This type is considered "extinct," as it is long mined out. It features bright yellow spots on top of white orbs, on a dark green background with druzy pockets. This is a solid piece with no fractures, as you can see in the close up images provided. This can be used for lapidary, to make cabochons, or polished and used as a display specimen. Dimensions are approximately 3.5" x 3" (see photos) and 7.04mm thick. Please note this is an unpolished piece. Weighs 112.5 grams. Items will ship within 1-2 business days. Please ask if you have any other questions. Thank you!
