The best way to use it I've found is like I have in the photos, where you take two pieces of putty and kind of strap them around each foot. I know it's not the prettiest thing, but it's one way to make do without a stand. By the way, make sure you trust the putty before you put her high up on any ledge, because sometimes if you don't do it quite right, gravity can get the best of a figure.
