She first enrolled at the Hebrew University and then studied etching techniques at the University of Milan, in Italy. Kramer later went to Paris and continued her art education at the Ecole de Louvre and at the Academie Julian. Finally, the artist completed her education at the Pratt Institute in New York. As early as 1957 the art of Mireille Kramer received national recognition when she was awarded the Millerman Prize at the Young Artists of Israel Exhibition. Since that time her original prints and paintings have been included in exhibitions at such major galleries as the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Mussee National d’Art Moderne, Paris, and at the Tel Aviv Gallery. Mireille Kramer resides at the Israeli artist colony, Ein Hod. S1.
