He has a very interested and alert expression, and I love his very pretty silk tie! W.H. Jacoby had his studio at several Minneapolis locations, mostly on Nicollet, over the years. Yellowing to image. Fading to image. Foxing (brown spotting) to image. Below photo is:"Jacoby252 Nicollet Avenue,Minneapolis." Card measures about 4 x 2.5 inches. Photo measures 3.5 x 2.25 inches. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.
