Description: This listing is for a pair of custom made cowboy boots. They are Texas made Mercedes custom hand made cowboy boots, a vintage pair that are from some point in the 1990's. The boots are of orange at the foot bed with black leather uppers, and contrasting orange pullups. The leather is super supple. You can instantly feel and see the quality of these! The boots were constructed with round toes, super roper heels with cats paw heel caps, single vamp stitching, and a double deep collar at the top of the shaft. The soles are of course made from leather. The custom boot starting price at Mercedes runs a little over $1200.00! The boots were made in Texas. The company began in 1975 and is still in business in Terrell, Texas. These boots are not to be confused with Rios of Mercedes cowboy boots which are also of fine quality, but are not custom hand made. Since these boots are custom made, there is no size on them. The number 8377 is stamped inside both boots but that is all. I am estimating the size as a men's size 9 or size 10. The Lucchese boots I have listed are from the same estate and they are a size 10 B. Here are some measurements on the Mercedes custom boots. The soles measure approximately 11 1/2" long. There is about 1/4" overhang at the toe. Adjusting for the overhang of the sole at the toe the length is 11 1/4". The width of the front portion of the sole at the widest point measures approximately 4 1/8". The sole overhangs about 1/4" on each side. That makes the width about 3 5/8". The circumference of the top opening is approximately 13". If there is any other information or measurement I can help provide regarding size, please just let me know.
