Description: This auction is for a great condition Barbour Beaufort waxed jacket, sized 40 (please note the actual measurements in the photos as this is relaxed and oversized fit). This is the dry wax, not the sylkoil, so it has a matte finish. There is some patina and creases, but the wax is still thickly applied, and most wrinkles can be removed with a quick blast of a hair dryer or heat gun (instructions readily available online). This is a rare version due to the snaps for the optional liner, as opposed to zips and the unique red, white, and blue tartan. All snaps are branded, classic Barbour oversized top zipper, and throat latch for when it gets windy or stormy. The dark brown corduroy collar is in great condition, as is most of the leather trim. Internal wrist hook and loop closure for custom fit. Interesting fact: they use hook and loop on this model so the jacket doesn't restrain your arm and quickly breaks away when lifting a long gun when hunting. That's also why it has a convenient two-way game pocket on the back that is fully lined for easy cleaning (i have never used it for this purpose, I kept an umbrella in it).
