Description: 1948 Columbia Pictures 15-chapter serial that, after several failed attempts, became the first (of many) live action DC comic book Superman film, Kirk Allyn as Superman/Clark Kent, Noel Neill as Lois Lane, Pierre Watkin, Tommy Bond, Carol Forman, Herbert Rawlinson, Luana Walters star. Note that all cards from chapter 1 have the NSS double-inking where it looked like they wrote 58 instead of 48 for the year and manually corrected it just before print.
