ORIGINThis unusual “Train” Collection came from my Brother, who worked for the railroad and who bought the Collection from a close friend, who was a retired Union Pacific Train Engineer where they were employed. This collection was supposed to become part of my Brother’s overall train display-setup; however, just like his train engineer friend, he never used them. CONDITIONIn fact, my Brother kept this entire Collection together, unused, in perfect/new condition, in their original boxes (see photo). IN ADDITIONImportantly, the Collection also comes with a refurbished Lionel ZW Controller,” which my Brother had completely refurbished by a certified rebuilder, for the expressed purpose of using with this Collection’s special engines. As with the rest of this Collection, after the full transformer/controller refurbishment, the ready-to-go unit.. UNUSUAL FINDThis is an incredible Collection -made up of 46 pieces/units -some rarer than others -like the snowplows, as seen in the group photo below: EXTENSIVE UNITSThe variety of Collection units includes: 2 powered lead-locomotives, 1 unpowered (mock-DP) locomotive, 3 double stack cars, 7 box cars, 2 snowplow-cars, 4 cylinder hoppers, 1-Tie Jetter and 24 coal cars.
