The slit will run up your Left Leg - this designer did notcut any corners and just not sew up the side seam - theystrategically designed the slit to go up the center point ofyour Left Leg ~ hence why the diagonal seams around the hiparea to lead to the right Point ~ brilliant & SEXY! It is NOT too revealing ~ but the designer sure knew how to play the "Angles" with putting in those 2 seams from either hip as itdraws the eye inward for a slimming effect; and to have the slit hit at the Right Spot on a Female's body! The 15" slit is NOT too revealing in a 36"skirt as the top 21" is all covered - hence why I believe that it can beworn for career wear and then change out the shoes & earrings, dab on someperfume and head out for Happy Hour. This 2pc set would look striking year round - imagineit with a pair of high black boots with a fur vest worn in cold weatheror a pair of strapping sandals/shoes in warmer temperatures. Who doesn't love the striking contrast look of Red & Black? The Back of the Jet Black Skirt is solid fabric with NO designfeatures but still has the hidden elastic stretch (spandex included) waistbandso that the "view" from all around is High Caliber. When I purchased the Set/Suit I was wearing Size 4-6and it was striking as I held it up against me - - I NEVERwore it; evident by the fold creases seen in the photographsas it has been in storage while I cared for my parent(s).
