Full cloth cover is clean and square with sharp edges and corners, a touch of wear at spine ends, tips and gilt spine titling, with mild sunning along top edge, otherwise no significant wear or imperfections. Price-clipped dust jacket remains clean and respectable, showing light to moderate edge and surface wear, light chipping at spine ends and flap fold corners, some heavier wear at lower spine, and overall age toning. Text block edges are mildly toned and there's a gift inscription from Christmas 1969 on front flyleaf that mentions the My Lai massacre that occurred in Son My village, Vietnam. Otherwise no significant cosmetic imperfections: no stains, no moisture damage, no tears etc. Altogether a tight, relatively attractive, well-preserved copy that has aged mildly and evenly.
