Joan Miro large original lithograph “Recent Paintings" 1953 - hand signed

Description: Joan Miro original double page - double sided lithograph, signed by Miro in white pencil on Arches paper, from the "Exhibition Catalogue of "Recent Paintings"" from Catalogue Raisonne Mourlot 141, published by Pierre Matisse, New York, New York 1953. Includes an impressive and detailed COA from the Collectors Group, Inc. Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The hand signed signature in white pencil by Miro himself is perfect and quintessential for Miro (not rushed). The litho is in excellent condition; please note the faint fold down the middle as well as the small pin holes from the folio binding in the center (see back-lit photo). You will not find a better value for a hand signed Miro of this size and rarity. This lithograph was the center page from the Catalogue that was printed by Mourlot Frères in Paris for the Pierre Matisse Gallery in NYC at the occasion of the artist's sixtieth anniversary and the presentation of Miro's recent artwork at the gallery. The catalogue folio contained lithographs of Miro's Recent Paintings and is beautiful and highly collectable on its own. This well attested, center page (Double page) original hand-signed Miro lithograph is quite rare, but I am pricing this at an incredible value and well below what others are asking for comparable signed Miro lithographs with solid COAs.
