Description: Fresh from a Northwest Arkansas estate is this JENNINGS BROTHERS bronzed bookend, marked JB 2672. The single elephant bookend is beautifully crafted and the patina is exceptionally nice. The elephant's trunk is lifted in the air and the tusks are in MINT condition. Bookend stands 8" tall, and is 7" wide at base and weighs approximately 2 lbs. The bottom has a 'new' paper insert---and needs new felt. Jennings Brothers was a fine BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT, foundry and produced some of the finest metal wares from 1890---1940. I will bubble wrap and box carefully for better security in shipping.
