The double-flared shape of the oversized port is precisely calculated to efficiently eliminate port noise. Even at high SPL, airflow through the port will remain uniform, offering better low-frequency extension and woofer protection. Because the area of the port in the middle is smaller than the mouth of the port, the port can be much shorter than a cylindrical port with a surface area the same as the Slipstream port's mouth; this means it can fit into smaller boxes. Binding Post: The wire terminal, on the right side of the enclosure, features a pair of binding posts that will accept single banana plugs, pin connectors, spade lugs, and bare wire up to 10-gauge.This unit is manufacturer Refurbished, Unit appears in a brown box, and is guaranteed to work perfectly.
