Description: Italian Musical Jewelry Box by Romance Reuge Plays Music of the night by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Swiss Musical Movement 18 Notes. Marked 18IS 6309. Made it Italy. A beautiful Hand Painted floral on the lid. In very good, vintage condition. Some very light scratches but nothing very noticeable at all. Winds perfect and the sound is amazing. Lid "clicks" shut and seems a little tight but this may be intentional. (Not sure). Measures about 6" long, 4" wide and about 2 1/2" tall. This is a gorgeous trinket jewelry box. The Swiss Romance movement, otherwise called a mechanism or tune is made by Reuge.During the late 1980’s, Reuge, a very respected company, began production of the Romance movements.
