Each barrel is patterned after a genuine Israeli virgin barrel as used on the Izzy K98 Mauser conversions.These barrels are made from 4140 Steel in the original German military stepped profile so that original front and rear sights will fit. This is also the correct profile for other Large-Ring Mauser rifles like the Yugos. Great opportunity to replace that worn 8mm barrel on your Mauser with something you can shoot! Or convert an oddball to a German or Israeli clone.Chambers are left short-chambered for easy installation; torque the barrel to your receiver, then ream until your bolt passes on a go-gauge. Simple!Overall length is 23.59". Twist is 1-10. Compatible with : Yugo M48, VZ24, Gew98, K98K, FN Mausers, ect.
