Behrman play (adapted from Aupres de Ma Blonde by Marcel Achard) opened in NYC on 11/02/49 and ran for 247 performances. The cast includes Alfred Lunt, Lynn Fontanne, Esther Mitchell, William Le Massena, Charles Bowden, Geoffrey Kerr, Betty Caulfield, Katharine Bard, Thomas Palmer, Doreen Lang, Allen Martin, Mary Fickett, Renee Orsell, Roy Johnson, Sandy Campbell, Noel Leslie, Lily Kembele-Cooper, J.P. Wilson, Henry Barnard, Hugh Franklin and Anne Sargent. Directed by Alfred Lunt. The program is complete. This is not a reproduction. Note: This is a regular Playbill size program. Condition is good with some wear including a light horizontal fold and and top edge wear. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
