Will generate Tesla Coil voltage action when driven with about 1 watt of radio frequency energy at 1477 KHz from a 50 ohm RF signal source. Can be used in QRP transmission and for tuning wire antennas to Long Wave and the lower AM broadcast band. Slide a ferrite rod into it to tune, or connect a 400pF variable capacitor across it. Connect to the microphone input of a sensitive audio recorder and place a long piece of iron into it to listen to VLF tweeks and whistlers below 5 Khz Very Low Frequency VLF. Hand made in USA.
