Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a leftward-facing profile of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, circumscribed by name and title, above a banner bearing dates “1813-1814-1815”, the reverse with a central monogram of King Wilhelm I, circumscribed by an institution date of “DEN 17.
