Description: A superb original example of the BORGWARD Isabella Coupe in the more scarce colour of deep metallic grey with red interior and polished hubs .This model was produced by Meccano Dinky Toys in France during 1961 and due to its scarcity has been “replicated” by several current manufacturers using the Dinky Toy name and producing in the far east .The model is undamaged and the only faults are minute marks to the roof and some original paint flaws as can be seen in the photographs . The glazing is all intact and clear .The suspension, steering is all working perfectly .The wheels and baseplate are all excellent .The model is accompanied by its original box with all flaps intact .The one side has the unusual correct triangular cutout through which the model colour can be viewed . This side also has some marks together with marks to one end flap .There is modest storage wear to the edges and corners . A superb correct and original ensemble .
