Description: Introduced in 1956 as part of the Franciscan Eclipse line DUET This is the Cereal or Soup Bowl It is free of chips, cracks, repairs, and crazing. With all my pieces when I bring them home, I hand wash them. I do this because I don’t believe you can truly say there is “no crazing” without getting them wet. Crazing can hide. So, when I say there are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs, I have done my due diligence to discover any defects. Please keep in mind that all US made Franciscan Ware was hand painted or hand decorated. There WILL be slight differences in pigmentation, color saturation, and style due to varying artists, conditions, and the age of the item. Seller's Note This pattern of Franciscan Ware was my mother’s wedding dishes. She started her collection in 1958 and she and I are still working on getting all the pieces she wants. These pieces came from a large lot we got on Craigslist that had some of what we wanted/needed and then some. We are selling the things that are duplicates.
