TYPE - Auger , Cone , Fighting Conch ( 2 ) AGE - Approximately 3 million years old, Pliocene era. LOCATION FOUND - Central Florida Bone Valley area. COLOR - Blue , beige , gray. SIZE - Between 2 - 3 inches . These shells were found at a dig site in Central Florida in an area known as Bone Valley. Shells from this area are known as * BONE VALLEY BLUES * because of their incredible color combinations which usually have shades of blue mixed in. These shells are coated with a thin layer of high quality clear topcoat to preserve and bring back the original color of the shells. The photos are close as possible to the original colors although slight variations may occur such as blues looking more gray in the photos.
