Description: This vintage Flying Colors ceramic necklace features a large black and white cow with a cute bell around its neck. It is surrounded on either side with white cow spotted small round beads and long black beads. Measurements: The necklace is 16 inches long with a screw type barrel clasp. Condition: The necklace is in excellent vintage condition. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description. Marks: The back of the large cow bead reads "Flying Colors.” The original company, Parrot Pearls, was founded in 1975 in San Francisco. These hand made, hand painted, artisan necklaces and pins are ceramic jewelry in fun shapes such as hearts, animals, flowers, strung along colorful bead chains. Parrot Pearls split off in the 1980's into Flying Colors and into Ruby Z. The Ruby Z, Flying Colors and Parrot Pearls were never mass produced.
