Description: An excellent condition copy of Ian Fleming's 6th James Bond title. This is a true first edition, second printing (instructed in April 1958 [as per Fleming's official biblographer Jon Gilbert], just one month after the release of the 1st/1st). This is super rare as a result. The dust jacket is a later original from the 1966 release. The exterior is largely fine with only minor markings. The interior has very minor foxing to some page tips and also some equally minor markings. Otherwise, largely excellent and near fine in places. The dust cover has been well protected with a high quality protective cover (removable, but I've not done so for purposes of photographs as it keeps extremities from being damaged). Only minor bumping, tears, folds etc. to top/bottom of spine and corners (as expected). No notable fading to spine. Overall, a rare copy of a scarce book in excellent condition.
