Description: Up for grabs is a fully restored size #7 skillet from Favorite Stove & Range. This cookware was called Piqua Ware after the town where the foundry was located Piqua, Ohio. This piece is in good condition. The cooking surface has a beautiful finish with minor imperfections consistent with any 100+ year-old piece of cast iron. It can have discoloration and utensil marks which will even out and darken with use. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. See photos for details This piece does have a spin when pushed on a solid surface making it suitable for gas stove tops. It will not change how well this will cook. The bottom is clean with a detailed smiley logo at the top and size number 7 at the bottom. Slight discoloration in the upper left corner which will even out over time with use. As with any cast iron, the cooking surface will continue to darken and season over time and with use. This piece will outlive all of us and may become a cherished family heirloom.
