Description: Exquisite vintage 2 deck card holder. This one is absolutely beautiful, finely detailed. It appears to be hand drawn/painted but I can't be sure. One side features an ornate design featuring birds and 3 old aces. The second side has the 4 card suits. All other sides have 2 fine white and black stripes that give the entire holder a very nice, elegant look. The holder can stand vertically, and the lid is nice and tight but slides off and on nicely. It is in excellent condition with no odor. The only issue I can find is a tiny bit of the shellac chipped off in area - I didn't even notice this until taking pictures. This is from the estate of an avid card collector (largest collection I've ever seen) and is one of his finest examples of a card deck holder. Be sure to check out my other items.
