Description: Extremely Rare Exposition Universelle de Paris 1889 black satin collapsible top hat souvenir for gentleman. Incredible piece of history. This piece is from my father's personal collection who acquired this and other curated souvenirs from Paris France. All stitching is tight and in impeccable condition. Very Vivid with no color fading. Brim is also in Incredible condition with no bends or breaks. Absolutely no rips, no tears and no holes in fabric or seams. Inside stamp says Exposition Universelle 1889 in beautiful Gold that has no signs of wear or fading. There is some minimal wear around top edge of hat shown in last picture. All inside wires that collapse hat are intact and not protruding. Measures 11.5" Front to back brim, 9"W, hat depth is 5" and 1" tall collapsed. Enjoy the photos! Ships USPS from USA
