Description: English creamware mug c1780 A small creamware mug, circa 1780, of cylindrical form painted with initials FL within a cartouche and with flower sprays to either side. Dimensions: 5.5cms high x 6.4cms diameter at top x 9.5cms across handle Weight: 120gms Condition: Has a small area of restoration approximately 1cm along the rim, with a a very small hairline crack (6mm long). There is a small star glazing crack to the lower left of the handle base. There are a few small chips to the base rim. See photographs. This is an exquisite creamware mug whose overall condition is wonderful and this would grace any collection.
