This is a small and adaptive aquatic plant that is not robust, but instead, fills in the needs of where it is placed in shallow water or muddy terrain. These plants take full sun to partial shade and are easy growers for those who do not have a green thumb. It reaches 12-30 inches in height and grow in a clump of up to two (2) feet wide. Dwarf papyrus can stay outside in zones 9-11 during the winter. If you are located in zone 8 (or colder climates), you will want to bring them indoor for winter.
