Description: A fancy French rim lock that will fit a pair of doors 1-3/8 inches thick. This lock is a left hand reverse bevel lock which means it mounts on the side the door stops are on. Lock and keeper measure 5-1/2" x 4 inches high. If used for a bedroom the key can be used only on the inside of the room for privacy. It didn't come with a key or escutcheon so I have made one up. Just remember this is just the opposite of an American rim lock in the way it is mounted, door stop side only. Please take a look at my other hardware items in my store, thank you.
