We purchased it from a reputable English lace wholesaler who offers a wide variety of vintage laces. Often called Nottingham Lace, it is made from the finest thread and is surprisingly sturdy. Look at the intricacy of the pattern. Flowers, leaves and stems are detailed in a white outline stitch. Four different netting patterns are used to connect the floral elements of the design.
