Description: Vintage Customized Colt Clip Point Bowie Knife. Modified. Many of these were made in Sheffield there are no markings so I'm thinking it is a USA made knife. Can't be sure. A one of a kind Colt Knife I had the Colt blade without a handle. I had knife maker Jim ort add the handle, butt cap and make sheath for it. It came out beautiful. Mirror polished clip point style blade. Colt logo stamped on one side. Modified brass guard. Jim added elk handle scales and elk butt cap. He did a little file work on top edge. Hidden tang. 5 3/8" Blade, 9 3/4" OAL He made a nice custom heavy duty brown leather belt sheath.
