CUSTOM SCALES SOG Sogwinder I Plain Edge Folding Knife AUS-6 Seki-Japan

Description: Knife only. Oiled often and rust free! Had this knife for years with no handle scales. Decided to make some almost 2 years ago. Need to clear out some knives and this is on the chopping block. They are real carbon fiber. Hand filed and sanded by me. Rounded the edges of the scales before putting them on. So no hot spots. Feels really good in hand. Scales are slightly lower than original. So where it meets the blade itself you now have a slight lip to rest your finger on either side. It's so close to being amazingly well done but I had zero experience going in and making such a thing. A few times I just hurried up when I should of not of been in such a rush to finish this up. There's a few things I could of done better. The rubber grommet at the rear of the knife is from a rear caliper bleed cover off a 1987 Toyota mr2. Had to keep it jdm. The knife does need sharpened. It works as is and will cut but it is by no means a razor. It's a very reliable box cutter and conversation starter. If you've never handled one of these, it is STOUT! See pictures for details.
