Description: THE BLACK SWIRL IN THE PHOTOS IS MY STAND, NOT A PART OF THE BARRETTE On my creative path, I have discovered the beauty of mixing my beading style with new materials. My latest adventure is with braided copper wire. Since this is only available in a bright sparkling silver and copper, I have chosen to add accents with beads. This brand new original design is embellished with beautiful purple blue iridescent beads swirling around the center. I also decided to give the "leaves" that cover the ends of the barrette a bit of a curl to give the appearance of ribbon. All my braided wire barrettes are fairly stiff but can be easily shaped into a tighter or looser curl. NOTE... THE COLOR OS A VERY BRIGHT AND SHINY SILVER, THE PICTURES GIVE THAT APPEARANCE OF A GOLD UNDERTONE OR THE REFLECTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER. Hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating them.
