Description: This is a vintage Case A62009 ½ “Barlow” pattern pocket knife.CASE XX USA 10 dot 1980 “lightning S” stamp.A62009 1/2 “Barlow” pattern jack knife at 3-3/8” closed.Brass liners. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops, no wobble.Carried and used a bit - never sharpened.The blades each have the original finish with tarnish and specks.Nice smooth “Appaloosa” bovine bone handles, no cracks or damage. Case only made this knife in CV for about two years, 1979 to 1981.A great knife to clean up! Great for everyday carry and use.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
