Description: The machine is made of high-quality materials. The globe is real glass and the machine portion is metal. It is clean and apparently has been well-maintained over the years. As far as I know, it is in working condition. I can hear coins rattling inside it, but I have no idea how to get coins out or gumballs in. I'm guessing it would not be too difficult, and the retro design is sure to spark conversations and bring a smile to everyone's face. This lamp is ideal for use in a home office, living room, or a child's bedroom. It is 21" tall with the gumball machine part measuring 12". Thanks for looking and considering this offer. I have included one picture of the lamp with a shade to give you an idea of how good it looks.
