Description: Vintage 70s BUCILLA Christmas Tree Skirt Sequins with Felt Appliqué Completed 43" including PomPom Trim Hand Stitched Fun hand stitched appliqué tree skirt designed with cheerful Santas all around. Each Santa has been stuffed with a bit a fiberfil to give a more 3D look. Green sequin bows/garland and pretty Christmas bells complete the design. The Santa's hat is trimmed in gold rickrack. Thanks to a kind, generous eBayer I know this pattern is called "Ring of Santas" and dates to 1974. Just full of sequins! Really took a lot of great handiwork. The pompom edge is ivory colored, or perhaps a winter-white, not bright white.The red felt background has a few areas of discoloration, but all the sequins and stitching looks very good.This skirt is one piece, with a unique layered-looking edge accented by the pompom trim that sets this skirt apart. There is a repaired hole in the center, and no slit. Seems to be made to set the tree on top of it.Nice heavy skirt (or could be used as a table cover) that will stay in place. The home was smoke-free, pet-free environment. Measures 43" diameter. Bought at a local Eastern Iowa estate auction. I do not accept returns so please ask questions before your purchase.
