Description: Here is Bruder's typically German high quality, although inevitably Left Hand Drive, large scale take on the Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon with opening doors and bonnet revealing engine detail, along with good interior detail including the later facia. The front wheels steer and there is a steering wheel/rod clipped to the chassis which it looks like it can be pushed through the sunroof to engage with a grey boss so you can turn the wheels. The problem is I can't work out how to move/slide the sunroof and, more importantly, the grey boss appears to be disconnected from the front wheels - I haven't tried drilling out heat stakes, etc, in the chassis to find out what may be wrong. It hasn't got a roofrack and the spare wheel is missing off the back door but the mirrors are there along with the snorkel and sidesteps and generally it's in pretty good condition (although the aluminium foil detail of the chequerplate on the wing tops frankly looks a bit naff!) New these go for around £40 in the UK.
