Description: Broad Axe-Offered is an antique broad axe with 13" long head marked "William Mann, Super R, Lewistown, Cast Steel. Bevel side marked 7 1/2. Head is 8 3/4" deep with good clean cutting edge. Has been nicely cleaned & sealed with minor rust pitting. 27" long handle is original with a bow to the bevel edge right side in good sound & well secured condition. 3 1/4 x 1 1/4" poll has sharp, crisp edges.
