Saturday, Sunday, and holidays do NOT count as business days and I do not usually ship on these days. If your payment falls on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, I most likely won't ship your order until Monday or Tuesday. The post office is usually closed on federal holidays so I am not able to drop off on these days at all. There may be an extra delay if you order during a long weekend. USPS also does not always scan in the item the same instant I drop it off at the post office, there can sometimes be a delay of several hours or a few days that I have no control over. Similarly, if there are unusual conditions near your delivery address such as extreme weather (snowstorms, etc) there may be a delay that is out of my control.
